Searching for materials that are level-appropriate and meaningful can be a challenge for a foreign language classroom. Search terms might not yield accurate results. The information on documents might be too overwhelming for students new to the language or too sparse. Sometimes, all you can find are someone else’s low quality photo of their receipt, or worse, what you might be searching for doesn’t exist.
To help combat this problem, I have created a number of authentic-like materials for a Chinese language classroom. These materials are classroom ready, and can be used for a variety of units and tasks, from role-playing language practice to reading comprehension. Each one of these documents is ready to print and be used in your class however you’d like, and the best part is, they are copyright free!
